The Power Of Positivity…

The Power Of Positivity

When the unexpected happens, you have to remain calm, focused and above all positive.

We can only hope to make our own world and the lives of those around us better, in the hope that perhaps the positivity may rub off and it may potentially help someone else in the long run. Negativity breeds negativity. You can plan your life to a certain extent, but sometimes things will throw you off course and you’ll have no choice but to adapt to a situation. In times like this, how do you react? Complain, moan, argue?

As they say ‘Life is too short’ a statement i’ve been hearing a lot recently.  You cannot live your life worrying about what may happen in the future or things that have happened, and you can’t allow things that are out of your control or your own small issues to ruin your happiness. We must take a lesson from events and try to move on in the best way we can. Keep progressing.

In the most challenging situations,  it’s so easy to become engrossed in, distraught and distressed in fear, self-doubt and anger, wish there was something we could have done differently or done better. In truth, in the majority of cases, there is nothing that you or anyone can do to stop what is meant to be.

There are numerous times in the past where something minor has taken over my day or rerouted me from positive thinking, and I have allowed something so small to ruin my vibe. Taking a step back and realising that in the grand scheme of your life, this small hurdle is nothing but a bump in the road, is honestly one of the most mind-clearing tools I have used.

Treat every situation as a lesson or a blessing.

Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff

Things can easily affect you, it can be as little as an unexpected text message or email, losing a cherished item or breaking something.

Whilst it’s annoying and potentially a little costly in some cases, overall it does not affect your life or wellbeing. I’ll admit, the old me would have allowed such small issues to grate on me and to seriously get me down, losing all sense of perspective.

I already take care of my products but unfortunately, a bad series of events has caused several items to be damaged. My camera, SD cards and portable hard drive have all called it a day, a really difficult challenge for someone who creates content daily and needs the tools to do so.

The fact is, there are billions of people who are worse off than you, I or the majority of us. There are also events in life, especially in the last few years, that are far bigger than all of us and can really bring you back down to earth. It’s truly helped me to realise that as long as my family and friends are healthy and well, I have a roof over my head and I can afford to eat every evening, there is not much else that should cause me to worry and stress in the way I have previously.

Perspective is a wonderful thing. And it all comes from realising that life is too short to worry. To stress or to moan. Perspective will leave us momentarily when things don’t go to plan. But give it a few hours maybe sometimes days, some deep breathing and a moment of clarity and you’ll soon realise what you have.

Potential & Perspective

A person can only hope to make their own world and the lives of those around better, in the hope that perhaps their positivity may rub off and it may potentially help someone else in the long run. That’s my goal.

I’m learning not to stress or worry, and instead find the perspective from the incredible things I have in life.

It’s a mad world and anything could happen in an instant. It’s so important to be thankful for each day, the people you have around you, the food on your table and the place you live.

Protecting My Products

As mentioned, whilst I do wrap all my products in excess protection and cotton wool, unforeseen circumstances can happen. I’m slowly replacing all my gadgets and will be back on my feet in no time.

From now on I’ll be protecting my gear in style.

As the devices we use become ever-smarter, the bags, cases, and organisers that we take to carry our smartphones, laptops and tablets around with us have remained firmly unintelligent. Knomo is on a mission to change that.

They believe the 9 to 5 lifestyle is becoming less and less popular. Our generation is leaving behind the office cubicles and heading out in the big wide world, working remotely gives you the ultimate sense of freedom and comfort.

KNOMO have created products that work 24/7 and fit in with people’s lives, a KNOMO bag is versatile – for use commuting to the office, but also a bag you’d also be comfortable with, in a cafe or on even on the beach with.

Under the leather and canvas covers, KNOMO’s products have some of the best designs, allowing technology to meet fashion. Music to my ears.

Intricate pockets mould to the shape of your smartphone or laptop, discreet power supplies are there to keep said devices chugging along throughout the day, and hidden magnets which quickly organise cables and chargers are all concealed within KNOMO’s bags and purses.

KNOMO doesn’t disappoint. The Albion backpack is very well constructed, sleek with a minimalist design and feels so easy to carry around. Some backpacks have a tendency to dig into your shoulders after a while, but this bag feels great. My laptop, camera, lenses and accessories can feel right at home.

A great feature with KNOMO bags is that they each have their unique ID number, which you can register online and track in case your precious bag and its belongings ever get lost. If somebody finds your bag, they can get in contact via the service and have it returned to you.

Ultimately the quality, comfort and practicality of this bag is great and I know everything is kept in place and organised when I’m on the move so often. Perfect for a life less ordinary, this a timeless bag that works, any time, any place.
