When planning my recent trip to Paris, I had a spare day to explore the city and wanted to do something out of the ordinary. To me, Paris is a city full of beautiful architecture, incredibly indulgent food and the most wonderfully stylish people on the planet but just like all cities when you often visit, you worry that you may have seen it all, but the good news is that I definitely hadn’t. After taking a trip here this time last year, I knew that I would always venture back to complete some unfinished business.
Before jumping on my flight I delved into all the Klook activities that were on offer across Paris, with so many options the decision wasn’t an easy one! I had never been to Disneyland before in Paris, so this was a no brainer. Next stop the Magic Kingdom.

When you see the “Instant Confirmation” lightning bolt next to the activity name, it means that you will receive your booking voucher via e-mail or the Klook app within 5 minutes when you complete the payment. Most entry tickets booked through Klook are confirmed immediately, and often you use the QR or bar code provided to enter the attraction directly so that you can skip-the-queue. Almost all of the tour experiences are confirmed within 24 hours, and if your selected date is not available the Klook team will try to schedule you on another date or give you a refund.
Once you’ve selected an attraction, ticket or service, read the reviews. Klook encourages people who have completed the travel experience to leave a review and offers bonus credits if you add photos. You can then use these credits towards your next travel booking on Klook, amazing.
Disneyland Paris is much more than a theme park. It is a place where time stops to give way to magic and imagination. Did you ever dream as a child about being inside a film with your favourite characters? This is the place to do it, time to stop dreaming and make your dreams come true.
The park is located in Marne-la-Vallée, about 35 minutes from the centre of Paris by train. At present it has two different spaces, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, as well as a shopping and entertainment area, Disney Village, and a theme golf course, Golf Disneyland. I headed there early in the morning to make the most of acres and acres of activities and sights.
Disneyland Paris is actually made up of two parks – Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
Disneyland Park is what is traditionally associated with Disneyland – this is where you will find Mickey Mouse, Sleeping Beauty’s castle and flying Dumbo elephants. Walt Disney Studios Park also has many rides but has a focus on how films are made – there are many sessions and studio tours to illustrate this.
Disney Magic on Parade was a real highlight. For about 20 minutes you get to watch all of your favourite Disney characters sing and dance their way along Main Street. The attractions right across the park blew my mind with over 100 years of history and characters.
